Meet the Botanicals:

Golden Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) oil:  Rich and silky, this oil closely resembles the skin’s natural oils and deeply conditions while it gently cleanses.  It sinks so effortlessly into the skin while delivering skin loving phytonutrients into the tissues while helping the skin retain its elasticity and maintain a dewy moisture

Grapeseed (Vitis vinifera) oil- Is a toning lightweight oil that nourishes the cells of the skin that may help reduce redness, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and leaves the skin feeling like silky satin. Excellent for hypoallergenic and sensitive skins. 

Avocado (Persea gratissima) oil: A super nourishing oil purported to contain a high amount of minerals, antioxidants and vitamins all helpful for conditioning, soothing, repairing and protecting the skin.

Sweet Almond (Prunus dulcis) oil: A wonderful emollient oil that is incredibly nourishing and jam packed full of vitamins (vitamin E)  and minerals that help promote a long lasting moisture barrier to help prevent moisture loss and deeply hydrated and soft skin. 

Sea Buckthorn Berry (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) oil: This bright reddish-orange color comes from the berry extract of the Seabuckthorn plant and is known for its cell regenerative and tissue revitalizing properties.. The orange color of the oil is from the high amounts of provitamin A carotenes and carotenoids. These constituents of the berry (carotenes and carotenoids) are thought to be beneficial in protecting the skin against sun damage from UV exposure. Reported to protect the collagen fibers and cell membranes helping the skin to remain healthy and youthful. The oil also contains vitamin C, vitamin E tocopherols, flavonoids, essential fatty acids, phytosterols and vitamins K, B1 and B2, and B12. Interestingly, the botanical name Hippophae translates to the Greek meaning “shiny horse,  because historically the fruit (berries), leaves and branches were fed to Greek horses and it was reported to make their coats incredibly healthy and shiny.
